Ties:
The first three competitors must participate without being given score. When there are 5 more judges should eliminate most high-grade and the lowest scores before summing.
If after adding the scores for each competitor a draw can be added to the total the highest rating and lowest to break the tie. Except when it is determined the first place.
Competitors who are tied for first place, and competitors remain tied after scoring the highest rating and lowest must make their way back to break the tie.
Musical Forms Division

If there is any question that is not covered by these rules, the Chief Referee in agreement with the referee intervening, may in its discretion, revoke, modify, or change some of the predefined rules if you think that enforce this rule is committing an injustice inherent to a competitor. However, the referee and his representative may exercise this right only in extreme cases.
